Look at what God did

In just a few months.  I am blown away by this.  Simeon found $30.00 on Galveston when we took Zoe on a visit.  He said something like "This will be the start to our money to Africa."

It certainly was!

God's Kindness

Day 2, I plan to be talking about God's kindness.  Right now, I am praying this prayer over the people.  That they would be blessed by the kindness of the Lord.  They would repent because of that kindness.  then they would never be the same.  

It is so strange to began to have a burden for people that I have not met, and no nothing about.  At camps and dnows here, you begin to generalize people.  But in Africa, they are so unique.  Maybe praying for a people in ministry is having a heart for their unique culture.  I mean that in other countries, as well as in other counties!  

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,

and the ends of the earth your possession.

(Psalm 2:8 ESV)

Elijah to Africa

This is from my son, Elijah, whose favorite color has always been green. (#StPatricksDay) His birthday is on Saturday! The next big phase in our journey is purchasing plane tickets. It will cost him $1700.00 and it will be his first plane ride. We are looking for partners to help get him (all of us) to Zambia, Africa. Lighthouse Ministries

“But I will give repeated thanks to the LORD, praising him to everyone. For he stands beside the needy, ready to save them from those who condemn them.”

Last night, we played music in Bacliff at the lighthouse. Our family, the Smiths, and Tom.  I told them about our trip, and someone partnered with us for $100.00. So grateful.

Cats

Sherri tells us that we need to leave by 5, because that's when the cats come out.
